Forum:How black horn of heaven negates special summoning twice

Ok my Bad I placed this in help desk forum by accident. Ok heres what happened: I played illusionary fusionist's effect to play blue eyes ultimate dragon and Opponent played black horn of heaven to negate special summoning and destroy it. I play Re-Fusion to bring back ultimate dragon and he says horn of black heaven means that I can't bring back blue eyes. Can someone please explain this to me?

  • For starters, what card is "Illusionary Fusionist"? Also, a card whose summon is negated can't be brought back with "Re-Fusion" because it wasn't Special Summoned properly. If I understand this situation correctly, "Illusionary Fusionist" would force a Special Summon of a Fusion Monster, so even if the summon went through and "BEUD" was killed, you still couldn't bring it back with "Re-Fusion". FLIP: Tribute 1 other monster to Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Fusion Deck. The Fusion Monster is destroyed at the end of the turn this effect is activated. = Summoner of illusons effect Pay 800 Life Points. Select 1 Fusion Monster from your Graveyard, Special Summon it, and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, remove the equipped monster from play. = Re-Fusion The summoning was negated and the monster was destroyed thats more or less what the trap says so that means it was sent to the graveyard therefore Re-fusion could work since the monster is IN the graveyard so How does it NOT work?

  • Black Horn of Heaven cannot negate a special summon that happens by a different card effect. This is because it does not negate the effect of the monster or any other card, and cannot interrupt that monster's or card's effect. BHoH can only negate Synchro Summons, inherent special summons, like DaD and Cyber Dragon, and Contact Fusion (at I least believe so). Messengerofthedark 03:04, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Messengerofthedark
