The summoner monk effect wich special summons a LV4 monster from the deck is stopped by book of moon or by a card that removes him from the field ? I mean, lumina lightsworn and zombie master effects dissapears if they are no longer face-up on the field when their resolves right? I want to know why this happens
Also, i want to know if prime material dragon´s effect which negates a card effect that destroys monsters on the field can be activated multiple times during a chain. and what about GB heraklinos? its effect can be activated multiple times during a chain? --187.138.22.208 22:33, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
99% of the time, flipping the monster face-down or chaining an effect that will remove it from the field will not stop the effect resolving.
It will stop cards like:
- Zombie Master (due to a specific ruling [If you activate "Zombie Master" effect, and an effect is chained that removes "Zombie Master" from the field or flips it face-down, the effect disappears and you cannot Special Summon the targeted monster.])
- Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress (she needs to be able to switch into defence mode on resolution. [You can change this card from face-up Attack Position to face-up Defense Position and destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls.]])
They can negate several times in a chain, as long as the player has enough cards to discard every time for the cost because it is an Optional Quick Effect. Falzar FZ 23:46, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
