Thankyou Thorn of RosenYubel for criticizing my previous theory, it was very constructive, but I have a new one for you to see

This one won't be possible in the TCG until duelist revolution but still

Concept 2:

you have a naturia bamboochute that has its effect negating activations.

Plasma

Astral Barrier

Spirit Barrier

See the thing is, although that is a pretty tight lock, you can't expect your opponent to just let you set that up. Plasma is hard enough to get out himself, and even if you do get this whole thing off, what if they have a DAD out, you can't just run over that. Maybe if you could come up with a deck build... It's a good idea, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to imagine someone just letting you pull that off. 70.123.132.176 23:43, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

I agree with 70.123 here. Any type of strong lockdown like that would be incredibly hard to pull off, and while trying to set it up, you'd be quite vulnerable, particularly Bloo-D requiring 3 tributes and Bamboochute requiring the tribute of another naturia monster when summoned to gain the effect.

A better lock, imo, is the Anti-Spell Fragrance Lockdown, requiring only two cards to pull off, Anti-Spell Fragrance and Dark Simorgh. Though it's not immune to monster effects (few monsters can top 2700 atk w/o spell or trap aid, or being tributed). And you can use counter traps to deal with problematic Monster effects.

In actuality though, there is no "invincible deck" they all have a vulnerable area, either in set-up, midgame, or late game. The very best deck, is not a rigid lock, but a deck, that can adapt completely to any situation it's given and overcome it, at any point in the game. Thorn of RosenYubel 01:16, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

Look, I only wanted to find one that could potentially completely lock down my opponent.— This unsigned comment was made by 173.76.29.237 (talkcontribs)

I made a deck around the little Bamboochute, maybe this will help for ideas.
