No, you cannot do that with Contact Fusion, only it can be activate for Polymerization. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 14:05, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

And if you use polymerization with blaze wing butterfly and king of the swamp, is that possible?

Oh, sorry, I thought that I read that as Gladiator Beasts Fusion monster, but it's possible as you're mentioning on Gemini Monster. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 14:24, January 10, 2011 (UTC)

You can only use Fusion Substitute Monsters for Fusion Monsters that have a "named" monster listed as one of their Fusion Material Monsters and you have to use them in the named monster's place; so in your case, you cannot use King of the Swamp as a substitute for Raptinus.Otakon7 (talkcontribs) 14:45, January 10, 2011 (U

If that is true, then why can i use king of the swamp as a fusion material for FGD even thoug its said five dragons. If you want proof you can search it in youtube. Its even possible in yugioh psp games and gameboy. So Ill repeat the question, Can u use king of the swamp as a fusion material to fusion summon Superalloy_Beast_Raptinus? — This unsigned comment was made by 119.93.113.25 (talkcontribs)

you can't use king for fgd... and that also shouldn't work in the games. 212.77.163.222 (talk) 09:39, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

He's right. Card Rulings:Five-Headed Dragon: When Fusion Summoning "Five-Headed Dragon", Fusion Material substitute monsters like "King of the Swamp" cannot be used as a Fusion Material.
If the games let you, it's a programming error. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:35, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
It's because that dragon is Gemini-Type required and because FGD is unlisted Fusion Monster as well? --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 11:41, January 11, 2011 (UTC)
King of the swamp won't work for FGD and Raptinus, for the reason that Otakon7 said. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:39, January 11, 2011 (UTC)

sorry for editing this page again. So a programming error, wow thats news tom me.So that's why they can tribute plant type monsters for the effect of lonefire in psp, and can target a card and "icarus attack" itself when u activate that trap card.I was wondering whose rules should I follow,is it falzar or fredcat?who among you two is the GM? — This unsigned comment was made by 119.93.113.25 (talkcontribs)

Lonefire can only Tribute plants on your own side of the field
Icarus cannot target itself as one of the 2 cards to be destroyed.
