Deck 1: Pre-Testing

I came up with this when I was reading BobaFett2's Blog. Now in his Blog post he used Tour Guide and Tour Bus to get Gladiator Beast Darius, now I wanted to come up with a way to use Invoker in a Koa'ki Meiru deck. The basic idea is beatdown, but if we add in Invoker and Urnight (His effect anyway), we get a powerful way to overwhelm the opponent, and Xyz Summon to avoid the maintenance cost! Tell me what you guys think, and anything I could add or change. I just want to focus on the Main Deck right now. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 21:44, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

Testing Results

  • I would have won against a Lightsworn Deck, but I misplayed and summoned D.D. Warrior Lady instead of Bergzak, who would have inflicted enough damage through an attack to win the duel.
  • I won against Frog Monarchs. Glad they weren't my version of Frog Monarchs. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:13, March 25, 2012 (UTC)
  • Won against SM10's Steelswarms, Bergzak and 2 Urnights overwhelmed him.

Comments/Suggestions

Try 1 or 2 Koa'ki Meiru Tornado. Grab it with Urnight, then topdeck the Core to wipe your opponent's field and Xyz into rank 4. I'd try to cut back Monsters some, so you can play a few more traps. Maybe the DDWL BLS stuff. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 21:50, March 26, 2012 (UTC)

What he said. ^^ BLS doesn't seem consistent with only 3 D.D. Warrior Ladies as targets, since they often remove themselves anyways. Tornado actually works wonderfully in the deck, giving it an anti-meta touch. Also, you can try to work in Veilers, Chains, and Maxx "C"'s in the deck for obvious reasons. Done, and yeah I was thinking the same for BLS, I'm keeping 1 D.D. Warrior Lady to reveal for Bergzak. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:21, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
Wait... Triple Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru but no Core Compression or Iron Core Luster?

Sure they might be a little situational but you're always planning on having core in hand.

Exactly, they are situational, I only had Iron 1 duel out of the 2 I've played so far, and I don't want to waste deck space on a card that need me to have Iron Core, if I do use a card that strictly needs Iron, I'll run it at 1. ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:01, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
Any ideas on how to make the deck faster, or do you guys have any other ideas? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:01, March 26, 2012 (UTC)
