Hey, guys, could you help make my Worm deck better?

The main strategy of this deck is to provide as much field control as possible through Xex, Yagan, Warrior Lady, and W Nebula Meteor, along with any of the other supporting traps, in order to clear the field for massive damage from King, Queen, Tentacles, or Triforce.

Yes, I am aware of the evident lack of Book of Moon. I wouldn't know what to take out for it.

In any case, plenty of trap protection in case things goes haywire. Never seems to go amiss, except in the case of Offerings to the Snake Deity. I only have one of those because I found that having two gave me dead draws more often than not.

Yes, I am aware that King is better than Queen, but Queen gives me the ability to choose what Worm monster I want on the field. I could tag her out for a King and, if available, revive her. I could tag another Worm out for a Tentacles and go for a kill. After all, Tentacles + Queen = 6,100 damage. Then, next turn, King could clean things up. Queen is simply essential to doing massive amounts of damage.

Any more than a single copy of each hinders this deck's flow.

Tentacles isn't the best Worm, but because of its damage potential, I have two copies in this deck, in case I ever need to tag out for it.

Cartaros is THE searcher for Worm Xex, so having any less than 3 could potentially be detrimental.

Birdman is amazing. The ability to reuse Cartaros's or Xex's effect is fantastic. Triforce allows me to revive Worms, including Yagan, and if King is on the field with it, which is possible through Triforce's effect, I could essentially destroy up to two cards on the field per turn.

The Warrior Ladies are there to also play Yagan's role and get rid of cards I don't like.

Many thanks for the help, guys!

I fixed the links. First, you should max out your Extra Deck. Add Scrap Dragon, Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Ally of Justice Catastor, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, and anything else. Dimensional Prison and Solemn Warning are totally different: I'd suggest keeping D-Prison and replacing Bottomless with Warning. Starlight Road is useless at one, as you probably won't draw it. Either put in another or take it out. Gorz the Emissary of Darkness is quite useful this format. Worm Linx is pretty good and I suggest using it. Call of the Haunted isn't all that great for Worms, so I'd take it out. Offering to the Snake Deity is probably worth using more than one of. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 15:02, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Aren't Linxs terribly difficult to keep alive in this format? 69.225.250.160 (talk) 22:20, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

I know that Lappy uses them. I suppose so. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 18:20, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

Lappy?

In any case, this deck has a problem against X-Sabers, Dragons, and Six Sam, all of which flood the field so I can't bounce fast enough. Summon Limit sided, maybe? GigaDager (talkcontribs) 22:16, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

That wouldn't be enough. Why are you running only 1 Worm Yagan? 207.233.120.2 (talk) 23:57, October 6, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, another Yagan would be good. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 00:16, October 7, 2011 (UTC)

You called? Yeah, so I'm Lappy. Linx was so good during set 4 format, but not so much now. -1 Road, -1 Call, -1 Heavy Storm (personal preference), +1 Yagan, +1 Duality, +1 Offering (I know you said you didn't like 2, but give it another chance). Oh, sorry, there are supposed to be 3 Yagans. Quite the heavensent, there.

Many thanks, Lappy! GigaDager (talkcontribs) 05:06, October 7, 2011 (UTC)1

1 Road? 207.233.120.2 (talk) 18:41, October 7, 2011 (UTC)
