I thought something like this

Monsters

Spells & Traps

suggestions please, but i'm looking for a Beatdown Dragon Deck

For monsters, try Gray Wing, Element Dragon, and the armed dragon set (Armed Dragon LV3, Armed Dragon LV5, Armed Dragon LV7, and Armed Dragon LV10). You also might want to throw in a Spirit Ryu. If you need more sacrificing material, Troop Dragonx3 works great.

For Spells, add in Super Rejuvenation, Rising Air Current (if they're mostly wind), and Stamping Destruction. If you're using the Armed Dragons, Level Up! and The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension might be useful.

For Traps, I would recommend Burst Breath and The Dragon's Bead. If you like to go heavy on cards where you discard from your hand, try Forced Requisition.

For cards to take out, I would take out Dekoichi, Trade-In, and Card Destruction. Snipo101 18:09, January 2, 2010 (UTC)

Totem Dragon and Decoy Dragon work for summon high lvl dragons, so i thing dont need more sacrifice creature..Gray Wing and Spirit Ryu? dragons with 1900 atk its better i thing..Armed Dragon set the effect isnt usefull.

Thx anyway

Well, I wouldn't rely on Decoy, because of the fact that the monsters have to be in the Graveyard. Chances are most of those high-level monsters are going to sit in your hand for a while, unless you can find some way to get them to the Graveyard. 2 Totems to sacrifice aren't enough.

You seem to be thinking Luster #1, but if you play the cards right (no pun intended), you can easily do better than that. Gray Wing can be a game breaker with the right combo. Best case scenario, I would summon him with Rising Air Current (1800 atk) and give him Axe of Despair (2800 atk). Use his ability with Forced Requisition and you have a good chance of dealing a 3500+ LP blow in one turn. Spirit Ryu can be used in conjunction with Super Rejuvenation and Forced Requisition, and even if you don't have a Dragon in your hand... guess what? D. Tribe! That's 2000 atk. Therefore, both monsters can easily beat your criteria of 1900.

What do you mean "The Armed Dragon set isn't useful?" OK, say you have Masked Dragon on the field and LV 3 and Level Up! in your hand. He kills Masked, allowing you to Special Summon another LV 3 from your deck. On your turn, you use LV 3's ability to get a LV 5 from your deck, then summon your other LV 3 and play Level Up!, and you have another LV 5. You now have two 2400 atk monsters on the field (2900 with Rising Air Current), and you're due to get a LV 7 next turn. Even if they die, you use The Graveyard in the 4th Dimension, and they go back in your deck. I'd say that leaves you in rather good shape.

I'm quite surprised you didn't comment on my suggestions for Spells and Traps or what cards you would be better off without. I'm just trying to help you, you know. Snipo101 03:48, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

i mean with armed dragon effect, dont u thing its better horus?...about ur spells and traps im agree with u :) just i took the Red Horus idea but i make my changes.. what u thing about this:

Monsters

Spells&Traps

I appreciate ur opinion, thx again

Five-Headed Dragon

I think you should also add Five-Headed Dragon to your Fusion Deck and add Dragon's Mirror and Future Fusion to your Main Deck because you can easily get Five Headed Dragon w/ Dragon's Mirror and you can have 2 w/ Future Fusion first and then Dragon's Mirror. When some of those Dragons are destroyed it can help because you can summon a 5000 ATK beatstick. --Superpower91 17:00, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • There are a few dragon decks on this archived page of the Decks for Free Forum. They're definitely worth checking out for ideas and/or inspiration. Here's the link:
