Forum:Lyla and xyz Summoning

Hi.
I was having a duel with a friend on Duelist Network last night
I summoned Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress and switched her to defense mode
to use her effect. I also special summoned another level 4 monster
(I don't recall how)
I then used both monsters as material to do a Rank 4 xyz summon.
Here is the question:
Will I still get the effect of Lyla to destroy a spell or trap
and be able to xyz summon using her as material and if so...
Do I also mill the 3 cards from the top of my deck during the end turn?

1) You summon her.

2) Then you use her effect.

3) Her eff applies, change herself to DEF and destroy 1 Spell/Trap.

4) You summon another mons.

5) You use both mons for Xyz summon.

6) At EP, you don't have any face-up Lyla on the field -> You cannot mill.

Just a note, if you look at the lore of "Lyla", you'll see: "(...) During each of your End Phases: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard. You must control this face-up card to activate and to resolve this effect." --Missign0 (talk • contribs) 11:13, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
