This is one of my friend's decks. He needs help on rating it and any suggestions will do. 1 for lowest, 10 highest.

Dark Vexus Deck

Before the rating I will just say some things about it. Yes this is your friend's but I will not use a form of speech regarding them. WHY the Simouchi? Both "dimension wall" and cylinder don't need to be there, keep one of them if you must but you need to gain more card advantage so get a Dimensional Prison or Mirror Force or something if you need battle prevention. "Metalmorph" isn't needed as you got the brute force needed to press on without it. Rush, pendent, hammer, and syndrome are completely unessacary. "Pseudo Space" is a field that accomplishes nothing, if you hoping to have it in case your opponent won't waste cards on it then interesting tactic. If C. Vice Dragon is going to be used you may as well use it's appropriate field and not pay when you need to attack or whatever. Red Enchanter is bad and there doesn't seem to be many ways for this deck to place counters on him. A single "Dragon Golem" doesn't accomplish much; single copies for the Red and Blue Malefics is even worse. With the side deck, toss in the other REDMD and the lindwurm I suppose...oh and I see a banned monster. Use more banned cards or get rid of it.

  • I rate it a 3 if just for general inconsistancy.

  • Um... This Deck is made in Tag Force 5 & not in Traditional Format, can you reconsider, my friend is quite angry about whoever commented the last time. Ok. Once again, 1 for lowest, 10 for highest. Any suggestions too, including anime exclusive tag force cards&TCG/OCG cards that can help this Deck, Thanks... User:Michael lawrence dee
I would have to agree with that fellow: 3 is an appropriate rating. This Deck is attempting to do many things at once and uses some contradictory cards, as well as many that you could do without. The Malefic monsters don't belong, you don't need Normal Monsters, even for their Fusions, and you do not need burn cards. 3 REDMD is a must. I also suggest dropping all Spellcasters, "Cyber Dragon", "Deep Diver", and "Des Feral Imp". Perhaps some "Red-Eyes Wyvern" would do instead.

your friend needs to focus on a strategy also he needs to thin his deck as it has so many cards he cant draw the right card there are so many cards thap are usless so my rating is 3.5 your friend can turn this to a REDMD based deck Time Waits for Nobody! but me! 19:22, December 4, 2011 (UTC)

Well, maybe I'll agree, he's asking me to help him fix his deck. As if there was such thing as a Perfect Deck, even Makyura FTK has a small chance of failure. (I love using that Forbidden Deck without the banlist in Tag Force 5) -User:Michael lawrence dee

As these may help narrow down what he wants to do with it.

I editted his deck&gave him the TF5-based banlist. If you don't know this banlist, it has Giant Scorpion of the Tundra as Forbidden and no other else.

Dark Vexus v.2

What do you think about my edit? Can someone rate this new version of the Dark Vexus Deck? - User:Michael lawrence dee 5:25, December 26, 2011 (PHT)

You aren't getting help, because you didn't listen to them. They told you the deck was trying to do to many things, because you have Cyberdarks, Horus, and Hopeless mixed in, as well as Armed Dragons in the Side. A good deck is made by focusing on ONE archetype and enhancing it, also good decks use Staples and multiple copies of cards(IF POSSIBLE), not just 1 copy of each. --99.64.71.229 (talk) 21:32, February 20, 2012 (UTC)
