Forum:Necrovalley card effect timing

This is the current game situation: - Field: Malefic World, Malefic Cyber End Dragon . - Grave: Malefic Truth Dragon. - Hand: Necrovalley, Meklord Emperor Wisel.

I want to activate Necrovalley to replace Malefic World to destroy my Cyber End Dragon, thus starting 2 chains summoning both Truth Dragon (from grave) and Emperor Wisel (from hand).

Here's the problem: I don't know if Truth Dragon can be summoned due to Necrovally on the field. And another question is I don't know if Emperor Wisel and Truth Dragon can even be chained on top of each other like this. Gamekingdom (talk • contribs) 21:30, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

In normal cases, you cannot active both Trigger Effect that special summon from grave/hand in same chain, so I would say that you cannot active both Truth and Wisel.--Lê (talk • contribs) 23:08, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I have to disagree with you there, Le. Because you can trigger both a Meklord Emperor and a Scrap Tuner on the same chain. At any rate, Malefic Truth Dragon doesn't affect any other cards in your Graveyard, only itself. That means it is unaffected by Necrovalley. Lappyzard (talk • contribs) 23:12, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

If you activate "Necrovalley", then "Malefic Cyber End Dragon" is destroyed at the same time as your "Malefic World". The last thing to happen is "Necrovalley" resolving, so you miss the timing and can't Summon "Meklord Emperor Wisel". You can still activate "Malefic Truth Dragon"'s effect, since it can't miss the timing.

Also (if "Malefic Cyber End Dragon" was destroyed by another card effect and there was no missed timing), you can only activate one Trigger Effect that can activate in your hand in the same Chain. It's the same as "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest". "Malefic Truth Dragon" and "Meklord Emperor Wisel" both can activate in the hand, so you can only activate one of them.
