Forum:Notable Level 2's

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if you all knew of some notable level 2 monsters. I'm looking into a possible deck direction and I really need help with this. --Tantara (talk) 22:21, November 14, 2009 (UTC)

the genesis

i believe that konami realised that level 2 monster were kinda crapy, so with the ´´genesis´´(the duelist genesis), konami started 2 create level 2 tuner monster that can work for themself and they can be used for synchro.

Anyway here is a top 3 of the best LVL 2 monsters

1. Krebons -Tuner
2. D.D. Scout Plane
3. Plaguespreader Zombie -Tuner

"Brain Jacker" is pretty good, especially with "Bad Reaction to Simochi"; if you don't use Simochi, it's better than "Snatch Steal". If you play OCG, "Fiend Roar Deity Raven" is a good card, but its level increases also, so you might not like that. "Fortress Warrior" is a great defensive card, while "Jowls of Dark Demise" could potentially inflict a lot of damage.   • "Rafflesia Seduction" is a worse "Jowls of Dark Demise" except for stats (which don't really matter in this case), IMHO. "Dimension Jar" is risky; both players could remove key cards, which is good and bad. • There´s also good old Muka Muka, it is weak if you don't have enough cards in your hand, but it can easily bypass lots of stall cards and has a neat combo with Morphing Jar, if you have a face-up muka muka and you flip morphing jar, Muka muka attack becomes 2100. It greatly benefits from Unstable Evolution since it's base attack changes from 600 to 1000 or 2400,which in the proper circunstances could mean 5200 or 5600 atk.
