Forum:Otohime effect question

Sorry to ask a very novice question. If Otohime is Set face-down, and is then attacked by an opponent, her effect is to change the battle position of an opponent, so, assuming that the attacking card position is changed from attack to defense, does the attacking card get to finish the attack, or is it immediately curtailed because his position has changed? As per Breakdown of the Battle Phase, her effect would resolve at SubStep 6, after damage calculation had been resolved, to decided on damage/destruction of monsters.

Think "Man-Eater Bug", his effect activate after being attacked and set a calculation (in case of pierce/trample effect) then you reply to choose which monster to be destroy afterward, just before you toss the bug away. That's same idea you do with "Otohime". --FredCat 10:59, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
