I was messing around with my cards and I found a combo that's sort of funny:

Splendid Venus, Skill Drain, and Royal Decree

When all controled on the same side of the field, Royal Decree negates Skill Drain, Splendid Venus negates Royal Decree, and Skill Drain negates Splendid Venus Dios mio! 01:23, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

You cannot activate a card that would cause an infinite loop because its effect cannot resolve completely. Falzar FZ 01:36, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

I just tried this on my game, I summoned Splendid Venus, I activated Skill Drain, and when I activated Royal Decree Skill Drain got destroyed. I don't know if I did anything wrong, did I? DeaththeKid

That's right. If a card is activated and it would cause an infinite loop, the source (usually the last card activated) would be destroyed by Game Mechanics. Falzar FZ 01:47, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

Just for funny... I like that interesting but yes, it's banned due to law of the Yu-Gi-Oh! --FredCat100 01:52, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

Currently, it is ruled that "Splendid Venus" cannot "unaffect" something if it would cause an infinite loop, similar to "The Lady in Wight". In your case, "Skill Drain" will remain negated.
The video games may have bugs or programming constraints that make the outcome different.
