This seems to work fine, if you want any ideas...I never found hand to be worth using only one copy for it by anyone, I'd say more or none. Also maybe one less Magatama. Anything else is much more personal preference so that's all I got to say about that. Well with what the meta mostly consits of...you won't do a whole lot with cylinder, I promote it's useage lol but it seems iffy. Sorry I can't be of much help. 173.75.82.74 (talk) 22:39, March 5, 2012 (UTC)

YCS Mexico Disagrees with 1 hand not being useful xD http://articles.alterealitygames.com/?p=11250 Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 18:35, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

I would say replace Hand with Mizuho. She is the same except her effect lets you destroy any card instead of just a monster card. In fact, I have found that comboing Mizuho and Shinai are a great combination, especially with 2 of each in your deck. Also, put in Spirit of the Six Samurai, he attaching his equip effect to Shi-En ups his lacking ATK so he can compete with most Synchros and XYZs out there.

I don't know why, but I am not a fan of Dark Hole. I always seem to get it at the worst times, and when I do get it when my opponent has swarmed the field, he has Dark Bribe or something. I would say get rid of Dark Hole and 1 Ascetism, put in 2x Shien's Dojo and 2x Six Samurai United. Maybe a third if you have it or a Pot of Duality (I only have 2 SSU, so I am running a PoD until I can eventually afford a third).

As for your traps, knock Double-Edged to 1 and take our Magic Cylinder and Dark Bribe. To be honest, as great as they are, there are really only three cards that an opponent destroying would really effect, but not enough to finish you off unless you were already about to lose. Also remember, Shi-En's effect to negate a Spell/Trap each turn, and with Great Shogun Shien, your opponent can only use one Spell/Trap per turn. Plus, you have Magatama to take out cards like Dark Hole, Torrential, Dark Bribe, etc.

I seem to be seeing a lot of you Dr. Kain xD
Anyway, just fyi, Great Shogun Shien and Shi-En don't create a lockdown. I can't tell if that's what you were saying, but since Shi-En negates a spell/trap, your opponent is considered never to have played one and can still play another spell/trap. They're obviously still limited to one a turn, which is great, but I'm just saying. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 18:34, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Interesting, because what I was told and read is that it can create a lockdown. I just found it to be a good bonus feature since I have both of them in my deck. Good to know before I end up having this whole big deal sometime on DN.

Well it's not what this wikipedia tells you Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 22:44, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Which is funny, because you go under tips, and it says this:

This card and "Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En" can create a lockdown on your opponent's spells/traps.

Unfortunately for the combo, one of those is backed up by official TCG rulings, and one of them is the wishful thinking of some user who edits this site. The sited sources on the above page don't lie. I wish I were wrong, though; it'd make for an epic combo. Brakedamold (talkcontribs) 22:44, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry i gorgot about united but yes there is 3 and im only running one shogun its final but how do you think i will do?--RainClaw the Elemental Samurai (talkcontribs) 13:24, March 21, 2012 (UTC)
