Hello Ladies and Gents today i will remake the Horus lockdown. It shall be more destructive then the original form. It will be harder for anyone to take down.

Let Me Explain Part 1:Monsters

As you know, stardust assault covers one thing that the original deck didnt do. This card covers monster effects. with that in this deck, horus is protected against cards like Judgment Dragon, Dark Armed, and anything else that gets in its way. the gravekeeper monster give you an added monster in play and can get rid of some on your opponents field. summoner monk brings out rose warrior for an instant lv8 synchro, like stardust. plague is just good and morphing jar adds a bit of draw power. Mystic Tomato, keeps a monster in play and allows you to bring the monk out faster. Sangan is simple enough, so no need to explain.Dark Armed is an added surprise for your opponent. If they think Stardust and Horus is bad, wait till this big bad dragon hits the war zone. :)

Let Me Explain Part 2:Spells

Well if you dont have decree in play, cold wave make up for it for a few moves. Storm and Trunade takes full care of the back row while allure gives added draw poer for all the darks in this deck. level up is a no brainer while book of moon is added support from attacks.

Let Me Explain Part 3:Traps

Well the 3rd part of the lock, 1st two being horus and stardust assault mode, is royal decree. good bye trap cards for the rest of the game. for the deck to reach full power, you will need to use assault mode activate to bring assault mode stardust 1st. solemn negates anything powerful that you rather not see in play.

Let Me Explain Part 4:Extra Deck

Well Stardust is protection while colossal is a physical wall that needs an effect to rid the field of him. um, blackrose go boom? hehe and dark strike can finish the game if you cant attack. thought ruler and red dragon can help change the tide of a duel while goyo steal opponents monsters. iron chain and gaia are just other vlv 6 that could be used.

Let Me Explain Part 4:Side Deck

Enemy controller is just support but the rest of the cards knock out big decks. light and shadow keep lightsworn and dad/blackwings at bay. Mirror of oaths stop glads and give you an added draw which is always good. by order of the emperor stop the returning monarchs from ever harming you.

My Thoughts

This deck is my design on a very old but very good deck. i know that the deck could be much better but this is what i have to work with right now. i saw that the deck could never deal with effect monsters so stardust is the only option that could work with the deck. now dark armed is, as i said, an added surprise.--Duelest 101 19:48, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

  • Kind of random but Destiny Hero - Plasma may be a good as it negates opponent's monster effect, and if you can work it right you can use the equip effect more than once by killing the equipped cards with MST, etc. Oh, and here's a few cards that may cause some trouble (I hope you can find a way pass them): D.D. Warrior, D.D. Warrior Lady, and D.D. Assailant). By the way, you might want to add another Level Up! and some Horus LV4. Maybe, I don't know. First of all, you probably should run Horus LV4. Second, if you really want to use Assault Mode, I'd use Assault Beast because its a beatstick and searches the trap. Runer5h 20:39, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

why i dont use lvl 4 horus

  • i needed darks for support
  • horus is only 1600 and effect needs to destroy a monster in battle to bring the next form
  • horus 6 can still be normal summoned.
  • a better 1600 fire monster is rose warrior
