If I have Black Garden on the field and summon Alien Kid, and then special summon an Alien Dog by its effect, will that mean that my opponent will end up having 2 rose tokens with both having at least 1 a-counter (and the other 2 counters are distributed between the tokens), or will the timing be off? ty--SantaOrc26 01:37, February 4, 2010 (UTC)

Correct, your opponent will get two "Rose Token"s, each with an A-Counter, plus "Alien Dog" and its effect.
When "Alien Kid" is Summoned, the effects of "Black Garden" and "Alien Dog" both activate at the same time and form a Chain according to SEGOC. "Alien Dog" is on Chain Link 2, so it resolves first and Special Summons itself, and then "Black Garden" Summons a "Rose Token" (which gets a Counter).
After this, the effects of "Alien Dog" and "Black Garden" both activate at the same time, so they form a Chain according to SEGOC. You control both effects, so choose the order in which they activate and resolve.
