From what I hear, there is a rumor going around that Imperial Order will be unbanned next format. Is that rumor credible? Are we actually going to get back the "steroids" version of Cold Wave? Can someone clarify this?

If every little rumor about this game (let alone the ban list) was true, we'd have a very different game. I haven't heard this but I sincerely doubt it, I haven't yet seen one predicted ban list that its totally the same as the next official one. No one guessed Monster Reborn, and guess we are now. 3-D 22:02, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

  • It is said that Konami has gathered groups of duelists and uses them to playtest some banned cards in a current meta setting. A group received Imperial Order, and 2 more some other banned cards. From what I heard, Imperial Order was the most likely to be un-banned, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be. --Darth Covah (Talk | Contribs) 00:10, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

I personally don't think that Imperial Order will go from banned to limited anytime soon. The reason I think this is because it's essentially a free spell negation during your opponents turn and then you can not pay lifepoints during your standby phase to get rid of it. Essentially it becomes a costless spell negation card. That's just my opinion though. Trilby 14:27, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Could be... because they are promoting trap cars now days as you can see the number of trap cards are increasing greatly especially in 5DS anime where they depend mostly on traps TairoMegus 15:23, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Imperial Order is actually pretty easy to get around. It's counterapart, Royal Decree, negates all trap cards, including Imperial Order. Also, there are the most frequently used traps to get rid of them, like trap stun, dark bribe, seven tools of the bandit, and last but not least, Dust Tornado.

Y'Know, just 'cause this card ain't affected by Double Snare, don't mean that it ain't able to be chained to. MST, Tornado, or Mystical Wind Typhoon will destroy it, under the correct circumstances, of course. Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 04:06, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
