I want to make a counter trap deck with Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord and some cards that set so I can use Worm Illidan's effect. I also want to use Dark monsters, and not too many Worm or Light monsters, so I can use Dark Illusion. Here's my go at it (I used YGO! WC 2010 to make the deck):
Oh, and a few other things before you can help me out: - I put tuners here to synchro summon some staple synchros. - This deck is to rely on wall monsters and counter traps. - This deck has fifty cards, so I don't deck out, or put too many cards. - Other counter fairies might work good, but this deck should focus on Dark Illusion; for it's quicker and easy to use for Van'dalgyon. - Other staples and suggestions on things to drop will be great!
Ok, so recap: it's a Dark/Counter Trap/Set deck revolving on Van'dalgyon created in YGO! wc 2010. Old cards are used in here, so new cards and suggestions are very helpful.

This is cool, but I don't think that it would work that well-see Forum:Deck Guide/General. The main problem is the focus on Dark Illusion. It doesn't stop many common Spell and Trap Cards today-just Compulsory Evacuation Device and Book of Moon.BobaFett2 (talk)
some help you were boba, telling him to go to the deck guide! (cuz thats kinda mean if you catch my drift) well i think it can work out but not too many dark illusion, you're rite on that. i think the deck should use more counter fairies, and chaos sorceror, cuz thats cool, and since there are worms in the deck, which are light monsters. also try using a Counter Counter in there, cuz youll never know what opponent you're facing, and Solemn Jugdement/Solemn Warning.
