in my opinion this page has an error : http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Tips:Shining_Elf

Shining Elf in not a quick effect and than it is impossibile that he can activate twice during same chain.

this sentence is incorrect : "You can use this card's effect to protect itself from other monsters that have up to 2600 ATK since its effect can be used multiple times."

Otherwhile, if you control 2 shining elf, you can activate both of them only 1 time and kill a 2600 atk monster

sentense correct is : "If you Control two copies of this card, you can use both card's effect to protect itself from other monsters that have up to 2600 ATK since its effect can be used ones times per Shining Elf."

In future - please making an habit to sign your edits with four tildes (~ symbol) before you could publish the posts.

"Shining Elf" is actually Triggering Effect, and you're correct that he's not Quick-Effect. But "Triggering Effect" also activate reckless what you doing, like "Zaborg the Thunder Monarch" for explain, can kill himself if he's Tribute Summoned while there are no other monsters on the field. So two copies of "Shining Elf" can be activate and detached same time, reduced the single summoned monster by 1000 ATK points at once. --iFredCat 15:05, June 12, 2012 (UTC)
