Forum:Stadust dragon Effect?

From Yugipedia
Jump to: navigation, search

In Stardust dragon siad:

"You can Tribute this card to negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect that destroys a card(s) on the field, and destroy that card. If you negate an effect this way, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard during the End Phase"

And Also in Starlight road's ruling page said:

"Special Summoning “Stardust Dragon” with “Starlight Road” is not a Synchro Summon. If that “Stardust Dragon” is later sent to the Graveyard, it cannot be Special Summoned by its own effect or “Call of the Haunted."

In these Texts I have 2 quistions.

In The First with second Bold text.

So why it can't revive it self from graveyard?

And the requirement for revive it self is only the first Bold?

There is no sign of "When this card is Syncro summoned" is a requirement for this effect anyway...

All Synchro monsters are treated as Semi-Nomi (except while in the Extra Deck), and must have been properly Synchro Summoned at least once before it can be Special Summoned from somewhere else (e.g. the Graveyard). -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 10:29, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not clealy understand it could you explain it more clealy please? SniperReady (talkcontribs) 11:08, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Starlight Road Special Summons Stardust from the Extra Deck; this is NOT a Synchro Summon. If Stardust uses his effect later; it cannot revive itself, nor can you use another card to revive it because it was on Properly Synchro Summoned in the first place. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:13, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Does this effect persist for Semi-Nomis? As in: I synchro summon Stardust, then he dies by battle and I later use Call of the Haunted to bring him back. Now when he goes back to the GY since he reached there after coming to the field without a proper Synchro summoning but by being summoned through CoH instead does this prevent, say, Monster Reborn from being used and getting him out a third time? Or since he was successfully synchro'd at least 1 time can I now revive him all I want from the GY? Thanks. Rozonkomo (talkcontribs) 06:02, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Just the one successful Synchro Summon is enough. You can revive him again and again with other methods later on. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:08, November 26, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks! So if it goes to the grave it's fair game, what if it goes out of play? Does this change anything or if it is say recovered by Burial from a DD then can it be revived once more through the previous methods? In other words, does going out of play reset the summoning conditions of the synchro? Rozonkomo (talkcontribs) 19:05, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

rfg the monster doesn't change the fact, that it was propperly summoned. So you can revive it. -dest- (talkcontribs) 19:43, November 27, 2010 (UTC)

Only when it is returned to the extra deck, you need to synchro summon it again, before you can special summon him by other cards. Jens (talkcontribs) 11:19, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
