Forum:Starter Deck 2010 hopes?

Okay, so a few of the cards for Starter deck 2010 have been revealed, pretty much copies of 2009,Junk Synchron, Goblin Attack Force, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow, Marauding Captain, and the main, "new" synchro, Junk Destroyer, which I'm not happy about, really. I mean, come on, maybe Drill Warrior and or Junk Archer would be awesome. Let's face it, a level 8 synchro with 2600 attack that's strong than Stardust Dragon and having the ability to destroy cards is fine. But let a new synchron monster be added to this deck. Drill Synchron, heck, even Quickdraw Synchron would be nice. Anyone bored of continuously getting Junk Synchron and Junk Warrior in Starter decks?! Any ideas? 71.201.153.162 02:50, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Heck, it's Yusei's ace card since Episode 1. --FredCat100 03:01, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

Almost everyone hates Junk Warrior, I mean really, it was brought down to a common. But seriously we need something good in this deck, something worth our 10 dollars, like in the other starter decks we got Colossal Fighter, Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth, and X-Saber Urbellum, those were worth the money. I we got something thats not terrible(I'm looking at you Junk, Nitro, Turbo and Road warrior) then it will be a good day for all of us. --DeaththeKid

Exactly DeaththeKid, we need an easier way of getting Junk Archer or Drill Warrior. They made Road Warrior in 2009 and in Yusei 2. What's preventing them from getting an improved version of Junk Warrior with a somewht better ability. Maybe a new X saber support card or two would be nice. I'm dying to seeX-Saber Palomlo in the TCG. And no more X-Saber Anu Piranha and the other ones that came in 2009. After seeing the list of a few cards, 2010 almost looks like a carbon copy of 2009, 6 cards or less that appeared in 2009. Another Scarecrow is nice though. 71.201.153.162 14:25, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

I think they should release a full Lightsworn deck with two Judgement Dragons included, after all it takes absolutely no skill to use them, hence it would be perfect for a starter deck. Hebi No David 21:02, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

*looks up*

O_O I dont know if I should hit you or shake your hand. Dont let to many sworn users hear you say that...You know how they feel about their "mass-luck-sack" deck --TheDivineDuelist 22:22, February 12, 2010 (UTC)

  • That is not what a Starter Deck should be. They need to be designed to at least let beginners get the grasp of the basic concepts of the game (The different kinds of Summons and Spell/Traps) before they can move on to grasp the more complex parts of the game (rulings, etc). --Gadjiltron 02:16, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

I honestly think they should stop it with the Yusei decks. Remember back when they made the Starter Deck: Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and Pegasus? Where are Jack and Aki's decks?--Akiza Izayoi 00:48, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • We're still waiting for Duelist Pack Jack and Duelist Pack Aki. Maybe not Crow, though, that would be likely to cause an epic shitstorm. --Gadjiltron 02:16, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

It's just gonna be the last two starter decks + a few new cards (probably from the anime) and then Junk Warrior + Junk Destroyer + Some other Level 6/7 Synchro Monster. --Blue (Talk) 00:57, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

F@&5!!! No more freaking JUNK WARRIOR!!!

Give me my money's worth for Junk Archer and Drill Warrior. 71.201.153.162 18:09, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
