My friend tried to call me on this but I think he's wrong and I just wanted to make sure. I used "Summoner of Illusions" to Special Summon "The Last Warrior from Another Planet". I used his effect to destroy all my other monsters, since I had no choice, and then it was destroyed at the end of the turn because of SoI. On my next turn, I activated "Monster Reborn" and summoned "The Last Warrior" and used his effect again. My friend said that since he was never Fusion Summoned that the effect doesn't apply when he's brought back from the Graveyard and that since it was never fused properly that it should've never worked at all. I showed him the card and how it says "When this card is Special Summoned..." and he got even more sure of himself. He said that it doesn't include being Special Summoned by an effect like "Monster Reborn" or SoI. I say he's wrong. Please set the record straight. Thanks.

- All Fusion Monsters have to be Fusion Summoned properly before being eligible for a Special Summoning like "Monster Reborn". However, his effect does activate if he's Special Summoned, with "Fusion" or SoI or "Monster Reborn", but he has to be Fusion Summoned first to be revived.

If I use "Summoner of Illusions" to Special Summon "The Last Warrior" and activate "Dimensionhole" to remove it from play until my next Standby Phase, when it comes back at that time does its effect activate causing me to destroy my other monsters, or is its return not considered a Special Summon? Thanks.

- "Dimensionhole" returns the removed card to the field—it doesn't Summon it. Hence, the effect of "The Last Warrior from Another Planet" destroying all other monsters you control will not activate. Net Effect: Your other monsters are safe...at least from the returned copy of "The Last Warrior from Another Planet".
