How will the return of Tsukuyomi next format shape the meta?Ja1lbreakr0cks (talkcontribs) 19:14, August 25, 2012 (UTC)

Not much, flip effects are way too slow nowadays to be overly competitive, and since MoF is gone she doesn't have any real cards that she can abuse. She's back, but unless an INSANE flip-based card comes out she won't be doing much.Jamesfury (talkcontribs) 19:21, August 25, 2012 (UTC)

It can squeeze out additional uses of ignition effects. So a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon can squeeze out an additional special summon, for instance, by special summoning a Dragon, Normal summoning Tsukuyomi, having the moon god flip the Darkness Metal face-down, flip-summoning Darkness Metal Dragon, and then summoning another Dragon. So, it can be handy even disregarding flip-effect monsters. 129.1.72.4 (talk) 19:33, August 25, 2012 (UTC)

Probably the only other thing she'd be used for is for taking out problematic effect monsters and killing beatsticks with wimpy DEF. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 23:35, August 25, 2012 (UTC)

Just a random aside, why are we call Tsukuyomi a she? I mean, yeah, kinda feminine appearance, but I was pretty sure that Tsukuyomi's supposed to be a male god of the moon. 129.1.72.4 (talk) 00:33, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

I agreed with IP-Addressed 129.1.72.4, I was in same case age ago - Males have Adam's apple more than the females. --iFredCat 00:35, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

They just don't know that it was a Male and not female, it is, in fact, a Male.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 15:24, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

It might be a good side deck against dino rabbit , becuase it forces Evolzar Laggia to negate it , and it can help get rid of Wind-Up Zenmaines. I think gravekeepers could also use it to reuse Gravekeeper's Spy's effect.

I agree with Matthew; it might not be Main Deck worthy but it may turn out surprisingly useful when sidedecked in the event of Laggia and Zenmaines/Maestroke. You could even use it to run over Leviathan Dragon, which some people favor for usually being a solid attacker. 108.196.206.15 (talk) 22:55, September 1, 2012 (UTC)
Along with IP-Addressed User's comment (above one), he is good replacement for "Book of Moon" if you missed a chance to revive/draw the spell card in "Empty Jar" theme. --iFredCat 22:59, September 1, 2012 (UTC)
