Forum:Turtle's "Advent of the Archlords" Deck

This is my Archlord Kristya deck. It is quite good but there are some issues that I hope will be solved. One of them is that I get Kristya on the field fairly well but I rarely use her inherent special summon.

Yes but there the only level 8's that will work for advance draw (except extra deck) plus trade in could fix a dead draw hand of drawing into 2 archlords plus if you had 3 fairies in your grave you can easily make it 4 by discarding a level 8 fairy for 2 cards. Ok, I revised my Archlord deck. The most important change is I screwed the synchro monsters. This deck is more dedicated to stopping special summons for good. I also added a few more Lv 8 fairies to act as a mini draw engine and they do have awesome effects and stats. Since I'm focusing more on stopping special summons, I maxed out Gellenduo. They are great tribute fodder and they are similar to Marshmallon. Also, Compulsory Evacuation Device for when my opponent synchro summons or even to save my own monster since there are many other ways to summon them back.

If your stopping special summons why not add in royal oppression? :)

I guess but with only 2 oppressions it should not ruin much plus you could just side deck oppression for decks that do a incredible amount of specials as it will hurt them way more then it would hurt you. OjaOwnage 18:55, April 20, 2010 (UTC)

Also you should perhaps take out 2 royal decree for 2 bottomless trap hole as bottomless wrecks lots of decks and royal decree could backfire on you as most people just use royal decree as there only trap or have royal decree and 1 or 2 others. OjaOwnage 11:58, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I've reduced Royal Decree to 1 and added a Bottomless Trap Hole. I will keep the other Royal Decree as I usually play against a lot of decks with traps.--Hide Head Turtle 12:15, April 21, 2010 (UTC)
