Forum:Vechroids with Relinquished problem

If I have summoned one of my Vechiroid fusion monsters using Vechiroid Connection Zone and my opponent has a Relinquished can he take control of it, seeing as becoming an equip card basically means it will be destroyed, and Connection Zone stops spell traps or effects from destroying the Vechiroid. Or does it just get equipped then afterward sent back to my side of the field?

I am not sure how this should work, help plz.

My second question is that Connection zone also stops the vechroids effects from being negated. So when my Super Vechroid Jumbo Drill is attacking, can its piercing damage be stopped by a Waboku, Neagte attack or Sakuretsu seeing as its effects cannot be negated?

Thanks for anyone helping me with these 2 questions. Roidacus 17:25, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Q1: Monsters equipped to Relinquished don't maintain their effects. So, while equipped to him, your vehicroids can be destroyed by effects that destroy spells/traps.

Q2a: Waboku doesn't negate the piercing effect, it just prevents damage from being dealt. b: Negate attack isn't negating the effect, just negating the attack and ending battle phase. c: Sakuretsu destroys the monster. So, if he can't be destroyed by traps, the attack continues through as normal.

Yes but with Q1 it is not the monster's effect.

Its a permanent effect to that card by Connection zone

So the affect can still work maybe? Roidacus 18:06, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Q1: Relinquished effect doesnt destroy the monster, it only turns it into an equip. So it isnt stopped by VCZ.

Q2: Waboku isnt negating the piercing effect, its stoping the battle damage. Negate Attack also isnt negating ther piercing, its negating the attack. Sakuretsu Armor will be negated because it would destroy the fusion, but it doesnt negate the effect.--Teba64 18:15, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Also, once your Vehicroid becomes an Equip Card, it loses its connection to "Vehicroid Connection Zone", and then can be destroyed as normal. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 21:10, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
