Hi everybody, i should give a friend of mine (oh, what a surprise he is a beginner in this game) an advise on how to build a good (or like he said: a great) deck. Well of course i could give him some tips but i thought it would be better to get some tipps of you too. To add this, i already have reade in an other forum here a tip aout this theme but it were to less informative if you ask me. Well i hope some of you can help me to help this new duelist. Lemme get the paragraph...
  • "1. Run Decks at 40 cards.
  • 2. Don't try to do too many things at once. Pick one central idea and choose every card based on that idea.
  • 3. Anything worth running is worth running in multiples.
  • 4. The less conditional a card is the better.
  • 5. The more Card Advantage you result in from using a card, the better.
  • 6. Single-use cards without lasting benefits are bad.

In addition choose something that is fun for you to use, then just try and make it work as well as possible (also, try suggestions, before declinging)

Cards that deal Life Point damage are next-to-useless. Cards that do nothing but cause you to gain Life Points are even worse. Paying Life Points is no big deal when you're saving yourself from defeat.BobaFett2 (talk)

  • Basiclly, Lifepoints don't matter if you win, gaining control is more important,

I was going to link you to my guide, but I guess Resk beat me to it. I'm honored that the great and wonderful Resk thinks my advice is good. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 01:22, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Lappy, I think me,Resk, and BF2 all like the general guide. It's beast. Covers everything new duelists need to know. ---Dark Ace SP™ (Talk) 03:38, August 5, 2011 (UTC)
