So. White Aura Biphamet. Look at all the things it's done so far:

• Attack with full attack power despite being hit from Clear Wing Fast
• Attack twice in the same battle phase
• Survived destruction by battle

So what's up with this thing? We've seen the last 2 plenty of times, but the first one probably has people stumped if only because its attack actually became 0. Moreover, it can't have been simply immune to card effects because while it "kept its ATK", it didn't attack twice during that Battle Phase, which is strange since Ren is an intelligent duelist and is not pulling his punches in this duel. So what's up?

Personally, I think all this is explained by one thing: White Aura Biphamet is actually 2 monsters, with each of its heads representing a separate monster. Gameplay wise, it would certainly explain a lot; during its first battle phase, with one of its heads' ATK dropped to 0, the other is still free to attack at full strength, since Clear Wing Fast can only target 1; during its second relevant battle phase, it's just that both heads attack; during the next battle phase, it's merely a matter of losing a single head (bear with me a little bit, this last one needs a little more explanation down below).

There are other hints to this as well in the artwork. The artist is oddly extremely consistent with the heads; so far, its left head (right side from our POV) has had all the misfortune of the duel applied consistently towards it (ATK 0, attack negated, attacked), while its right head has so far never suffered at all. Rule of cool is one thing, but the consistency of this situation makes it a little odd. Theoretically, everything should be happening to the whole monster, yet the artist has made a point of consistently handling each head's situation separately. I'm not fully certain how they will choose to handle this "regeneration" mechanic that they deliberately pointed out to us, but note that it's not as if White Aura Biphamet is simply immune to destruction by battle; the artist also made a point of showing that head decapitated (the head itself while it's "regenerating" is transparent, and you can see the stumpy neck the head was connected to).
