Forum:YVD and Dueling Network?

Just out of curiosity, why are there no articles for Dueling Network, YVD, etc.? I think they're relevant enough to the game to have a place here. I'm sure there's a reason why, though, so I want to know what that is and if it can be challenged.--YamiWheeler (talk • contribs) 12:45, July 4, 2011 (UTC)

While I agree that they are important to the game and SHOULD have articles, the Wikia staff believes that they should not because they are unofficial and not licensed by Konami. --GoldenSandslash15 (talk • contribs) 20:35, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

Administrators aren't considered staff, assuming that's who you meant. No one has absolute say over what is and isn't allowed. If you think the pages should exist, feel free to give your reasons. It is bad etiquette for an administrator to ignore a multi-user discussion in favour of what they want.

There have been a few discussions on deleting articles on fansites in the past, but the talk pages got deleted. I've posted some here. I'll add more if I find any. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:36, July 9, 2011 (UTC)

• Thank you for your impartiality, Delta. I've read through the discussions on that page and noticed that they were quite dated as opposed to now. The Wiki has in fact since adopted several other "unofficial" content onto the site, including Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series and various content spawning from that (i.e. song parodies). I think that both YVD and Dueling Network are popular enough to warrant pages, not necessarily to advertise them (since that was the concern of the previous staff), but to archive them as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, which they are.--YamiWheeler (talk • contribs) 10:08, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

I think there important enough, I mean quite a few players use these sites, I only just recently discovered it, and have been able to test decks, I would have never been able to test before.
