Forum:Your favourite duel in the anime/manga

We all have our favourite moments from the anime/manga, ranging from certain lines from characters to summoning of monsters. What about entire duels? Yes, this includes things spanning across entire episodes, maybe 2 or 3 at a time. Do list the reasons why they're your favourite, too.

So I guess I'll start. Personal favourites include Yusei vs Takasu where he just kicks Takasu's ass with a bunch of very old cards - something that doesn't appear in the anime. There's also Jaden vs Bob Banter for entertainment value because of Bob's cards including actions that you don't normally do within the card game. I liked Crow vs. Greiger, a lot. Crow is my favorite character, (he's also the first animé character I've ever considered my favorite and the first person, real or otherwise, that I've looked up to) and this duel was one of his best. First off, he's the only non-Signer to ever beat a Dark Signer. Being a non-Signer, he had no ace Dragon to help him win. Animé dueling is determined by the strongest monster. The more boss monsters you take down, the better you are. Crow took down, and I count: Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, Dark Flat Top, Flying Fortress SKY FIRE for a second time, Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua, (but didn't go through with it) and Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua for a second time. Oh, and did I mention that his was the first Turbo Duel not on auto-pilot AND Crow had a broken shoulder and several cracked ribs at the time? Well i don't kno if this counts as makin' it my favorite, but the one where Akiza uses Yusei's Stardust Dragon at the end of the turbo duel with Sherry LeBlanc to stop the truck from crushing them is one of my favs.--elementalknight (talk • contribs) 21:27, December 15, 2010 (UTC)

I know this is a bit old but one of my favourite duels were syrus vs the dino guy (cant remember his name) in GX. Syrus used decoyroid, ambulanceroid, rescueroid, and cyber summon blaster against ultimate tyranno. tyranno had to attack decoyroid, ambulance added to hand, rescue specialed and cyber summon hit for 300. tyranno had to attack decoyroid and the loop starts again.(in the same battle phase.) In the original anime, Yugi vs. Joey (Before Battle City Finals), Yugi vs. Raphael (First Time), Kaiba vs. Sigfried. In GX, Jaden vs. Bastion (early Season 1), Zane vs. Aster, any of Zane's duels afterwards, any duel with Yubel. In 5D's, Yusei vs. Jack (Episode 4-5), Yusei vs. Akiza (Fortune Cup Finals), Crow vs. Security, Yusei vs. Kalin (Both times). --GoldenSandslash15 (talk • contribs) 20:04, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
