If Yubel battles Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, who's effect activates first? 99.172.39.251 17:20, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
- See the Breakdown of the Battle Phase.
- The effect of "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" activate at the very beginning of the Damage Step. The effect of "Yubel" activate later on, during the "Before Damage Calculation" part. Thus, "Neo-Spacian Grand Mole" will activate first and return the monsters to the hand. Afterwards, the effect of "Yubel" won't activate, since it is no longer on the field.
