1, Dimensional counterpart thing. 2, me, no. Yuya is yuya, yuto is yuto, etc. being counterparts does not make them the same person. 3, its YGO, there will never be any romance, only endless ship teasing

Alright, I think I understand now, after watching Arc-V 39.

No, I don't think it's a literal spiritual merger, but more of Xyz Rebellion Dragon driving him. You've seen how Rebellion Dragon and Synchro Dragon were driving both Yuto and Yugo nuts in a their Duel. The same was happening to Yuya.

Also remember that Yuto wanted Yuya to bring happiness with his Dueling as his parting wish. There's no way Yuto will duel so cruelly if he had taken control over Yuya, or if their souls had merged somewhat.

I think that Yuto and Yugo and Yuri are originally Yuya . I think that Yuto and Yuri and Yugo are Yuya future . The reason is why Yuto and Yugo not surprised at the appearance of Yuya .
