If Zanji is with another Six Samurai Monster, and it attacks Pyramid Turtle, will Pyramid Turtle Special Summon a Zombie ? Or not ? UltraSynchron (talk • contribs) 14:35, December 30, 2010 (UTC)

Good question.
Using the rulings on Penguin Soldier as a reference, I would assume that Pyramid Turtle's effect resolves normally, as the destruction effect of Zanji would target a monster that has already been destroyed. I'm not certain.

- If Pyramid Turtle is destroyed by battle, Zanji's effect will never activate. Pyramid Turtle will then do it's thing.
- If Pyramid Turtle was protected somehow (e.g. Waboku), Zanji's effect will destroy Pyramid Turtle, destroying by an effect, not by battle.
