Funny Bunny (series)

The Funny Bunny TV show, as it appeared in the anime

Funny Bunny, known as Funny Rabbit (ファニーラビット Fanī Rabitto) in the manga and Japanese version, is the name of a comic and cartoon read and watched by Maximillion Pegasus.

It was aired on every Saturday morning, when Pegasus was growing up in America.

Characters

• Funny Bunny (Funny Rabbit): The main character, who is forever evading the law
• Ruff Ruff McDogg (Bulldog Police): The police officer antagonist to Funny Bunny
• A pig and a crocodile are also seen when Pegasus is reading the comic.

Influence

Pegasus uses Funny Bunny illustrations in his computer security system.

Pegasus based some of his cards, including the Toon monsters, on the series. He explained that Toon monsters were able to dodge attacks in a similar fashion to how Funny Bunny could dodge Ruff Ruff McDogg's bullets.

The card "Dark Rabbit" may have been based on this character. The card's flavor text even mentions that "Dark Rabbit" is a "funny bunny".
