King's Valley

The King's Valley or the Valley of the Kings is a location in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. It is the burial location of the royal family. It is based on the real-world location.

History[edit]

For generations, the King's Valley was guarded by Sadin's family.

Sorcerers hid the secret of their magic within the Forbidden Ruins at the King's Valley and passed some of the secrets on to their descendants. One such descendant, Heishin, was able to find the Forbidden Ruins and uncover the secrets of the Millennium Items, allowing him to rise to power.

When the Pharaoh and and Queen died, Heishin did not allow them to be buried in the valley. Meanwhile, Sadin continued to guard the valley and managed to keep Heishin out.

After returning from the future the ancient Egypt, the Prince met Sadin at the valley and was informed of the recent happenings, including his parents not being buried there. The Prince asked Sadin to take him to the Forbidden Ruins, per Simon Muran's instructions. However Sadin had never seen such a place. The Prince later returned with a map and Sadin was able to guide him to the ruins. However, he was followed by Seto, who revealed himself and claimed to be on the Prince's side in his attempt to overthrow Heishin.

The Prince returned to the King's Valley after collecting the Millennium Items and entered the Forbidden Ruins again. However Heishin coerced him into handing over the Items and used them to complete the ritual to summon DarkNite. DarkNite refused to obey Heishin and killed him, but was then defeated by the Prince.

The Prince became Pharaoh and ordered the Forbidden Ruins to be buried.
