The 3 Egyptian God Cards are deemed as legendary and are considered the most powerful cards in the entire game in the [[Yu-Gi-Oh! (second series anime)|Yu-Gi-Oh! anime]] and [[Yu-Gi-Oh! (manga)|manga]], each having their own unique and devastating effects.
Divine-Beast was originally not a legal Type. However, legal reprints of "[[Obelisk the Tormentor]]", "[[Slifer the Sky Dragon]]", and "[[The Winged Dragon of Ra]]" have been released, confirming Divine-Beast as a legal type, that can be declared with cards such as "[[DNA Surgery]]". For the longest time, there was no released existing support for Divine-Beast monsters until the release of "[[Ra's Disciple]]" from the booster ''[[Dragons of Legend]]''.
