Name

In episode 37, when Droite and Gauche begin their duel with Yuma, her name is spelt "Dolowa". Should this be changed or should we wait until episode 38 incase it is like the Shuta-Syuta occurrence? TheScarecrow14 (talk • contribs) 06:07, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

Shuta's a Japanese name, and Syuta a perfectly legitimate romanization thereof. Droite is a different matter: the name is a foreign word (French for "right") transliterated into Japanese, and the fact that she's paired with Gauche (French for "left") indicates this isn't a coincidence. If the series continues to use "Dolowa" consistently from this point onward, then there's a strong argument that this is the intended romanization after all, but until then, I argue that this is a "Giant Trunade" situation where the creators are simply unfamiliar with the proper romanization. (It took me years to figure out that "Trunade" would be written トルネード - "tornado" - in Japanese.)--Ryusui (talk • contribs) 06:19, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

• In episode 53, Droite is Dolowa and Gauche name is Gosyu? Is that their true intended name, or the animator doesn't get the idea behind their romaji in French? Blackwings0605 (talk) 13:46, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I highly doubt she is romantically interested in him. It seems much more likely she's actually connected to him prior to his association with Faker. Like maybe she's actually his mother.
