"Illegal" or "Tournament Legal"?

Old Boosters = "Magic" not "Spell" cards?

Are the old boosters included with this going to be basically old packs re-released or are these all the old cards "re-designed" for the current TCG i.e. older "Magic" cards made into "Spell" cards? BlueEyesWhiteDragon (talk • contribs) 17:27, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

They were changed to "Spell" cards before they stopped printing them. Besides, the page states that one of the packs is Spell Ruler, which is what Magic Ruler was changed to. However, the cards still have the old coloring (the box with the description/effects is barely lighter than the rest of the card, as opposed to more recent cards, on which the box is much lighter.) (this doesn't apply to the Egyptian God Cards, the description boxes of which will be much lighter). ~~Kev McKing 1-1-11~~

Old Art or Alternate Art?

Some retailers are selling pre-orders of the yugioh legendary collection 10th anniversary special pack as well as pre-orders of the single cards within the box. The single cards do not have an official artwork but the retailers display the cards as a photo with alternate artwork for the three ultra-rare varient cards D. Magician, B. Eyes W. Dragon, and R. Eyes B. Dragon; They also display the three ultra-rare god cards as photos with the original artwork. OCG Release date?

Is th OCG release date for all the japanese cards or is it the same as the english cards?

There is no OCG version of this item. Legendary Collection is a TCG exclusive promotion to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime. It will be only available in English with a different content for Europe...Nameless0666 (talk • contribs) 15:36, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Stores?

Will It Be Available In Targets, Wal-Marts, Toys R'Us, Etc???

Thats a very good question, mainly because no one knows wether its going to be a "Hobby Exclusive" or a "Collectors Set". If it is a hobby exclusive then it wont be in the main stores like toys'r'us and wal-mart, and it will be exclusive to hobby shops/stores(For example Comic's and Cards). If it is a collectors set then it will be availible to all retailers including toys'r'u and wal-mart.

You can make an argument for each one. People assume because it says "collection" in the title then its a collectors set, but thats not really true. I have seen hobby shops selling this items as pre-orders on e-bay which could indicate that it's a hobby exclusive. Regional DIfference

Regional difference is the next big contreversy over this product. It comes out sept. 30 for europe and Oct. 5th for the USA, but you may be saying where does that leave asia and the other OCG territories? Well it dosent! Now thats making some people ask why is there no OCG version of this set and many claim that this product is a direct responce to the OCG style of cards that contain racy wording(like refering to gods) and graphic pictures! Even if they are limited, there is no need to post LIMITED EDITION on the card list. Otherwise HA01 would be an eyesore. IonCharge (talk • contribs) 17:35, September 23, 2010 (UTC)

Here's the solution: only the first 3 packs will be in the EU version. If you want prove of it : here is the European version and here is the American version. And to confirm this, i received a mail from Konami saying that content is different between EU and US version.

UPDATE 9/22/10

By zooming in on the legendary collection photo i have confirmed that the god cards will certainly say "this card cannot be used in a duel" on the bottom left and will say "LIMITED EDITION" on the middle left of the card. This is the first time the gods have had "LIMITED EDITION" printed on the card(excluding the shonen jump versions of Obelisk)and will most likley be the last original limited edition set considering that the god cards are currently being converted by OCG into legal cards which will make all three tounament legal at future dates...Nameless0666 (talk • contribs) 20:52, September 22, 2010 (UTC)

Cards ID

are you sure that Obelisk is number 1 and Slifer number 2? In previous released (including Japanese ones), Obelisk was number 2 and Slifer number 1... By the way, it means that God Cards will never be available in other languages than English, Japanese.... AND Korean... of course those who edit the cards for the OCG market are just a little more... "kind" that those who edit the cards for TCG market...

i bought the legandary collection and i comppared my blue eyes white dragon to the one in the pack and it was identical no matter what everything was the same except for the picture it looks a ton cooler
