One thing that I've heard disputed - Can you Normal Summon a monster in to Face-Up Defense Mode? --Person who doesn't have an account.

No (unless you're a character in the anime, such as in episode 5 of 5ds when "Yusei summons 'Ghost Gardna' in Defense Position") --Dpsklsd 18:57, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
You can Normal Summon any monster in to Face-Up Defense Mode only if "Light of Intervention" is on the field while it's effect is applied aside from anime; "Gravekeeper's Chief" was one of the card character' that used the OCG/TCG rule for summoning he never normal summoned a monster in face-up defense mode.--Wasn't (talkcontribs) 20:10, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Honestly, you should hold Shift to hit the : instead of ;, because it made much harder for the computer to fixing the bold when you done that. And GX from that point on are running on with correct ruling, since Judai once mentioned about Clumley's mistake of summoning "Des Koala" at that point.
As for one who like to know why Anime have different way to summon monster in face-up Defense Position, they can be play as Anime character, as long as his/her friend(s) agreed to play same way, but in Tournament (Region/National) they cannot do that and will be kick out if tried to do that. --FredCat 12:58, March 28, 2011 (UTC)
