Theurgy, opened

Theurgy, known as Theologia (テウロギア Teurogia) in the Japanese version, is a gateway between worlds in the Magistus arc of Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Stories. It is named after Theologia Germanica and its name is also mentioned in the card, "Magistus Theurgy".

Function[edit]

Theurgy is the gateway to other worlds. Connected to places which includes spirits or the Guardians that the three Magistus call upon. While currently sealed, its cracking has caused an overflow of magic power and were it to shatter, Astrodia world would become overflown in magic power, altering its environment.

History[edit]

Zoroa caused all Magistus to open Theurgy, which was to result in a flow of magic power into their world. Despite knowing this would result in the deaths of many people and other lifeforms, Zoroa saw their deaths as part of a natural process necessary for the commencement of a new era and regarded the search for truth as being more important.[1]

Aleister Crowley, Endymion, and Rilliona attempted to combine their powers to close Theurgy, but were confronted by Zoroa, who engaged in battle with them.[1]
