Categorising cards by set

• Do we really need to categorise cards by set? Each set page lists all cards in it and is linked to from the card's pages. -- Deltaneos (talk • contribs) 19:19, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

In some cases with the TCG, they weren't released except in the sets. If I don't add set categories, they won't end end up anywhere in the TCG area. --Lycentia 19:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

I would suggest stopping

• Do you realize that the categorizing that your doing will slow this site to a stand still eventually as the category base gets huge. I would also bring your attention to the edits done on the Black Luster Soldier card article where the ADMIN for this site undid your categorizing. Please confer with him before resuming, else he might not be so happy changing things back to the way they were. Just some advice.--Pcouw 04:24, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

• • Sorry about the mixed messages - They're a good idea, if MediaWiki is indeed capable of listing articles that only appear in specific categories. Netrep have an API to handle this, but for the scope of this project, it's inadequate. The categories will return eventually, the details just need to be sorted first. ^^.
