The first four sections describe the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! and a number of plot elements over fourteen pages. The characters sections make up the majority of the book. It gives a description for each character and lists some monsters used by them. For major characters, it also gives details on some of their major moments in the series and "did you know?" facts.
The book is illustrated with screenshots of the anime and has quotes from characters appearing throughout each section.
Mistakes[edit]
- "Exodia the Forbidden One" has its type listed as "Dragon".
- The pictures for "Alligator's Sword" and "Alligator's Sword Dragon" are mixed up.
- "Obelisk the Tormentor" is given a description for "King's Knight".
- "Crass Clown" and "Clown Zombie" have their names mixed up.
