• This monster is based on the White Tiger, one of the Four Symbols in Chinese astrology.
  • This is the first revealed "ZW -" monster whose English name does not include the name of the animal it depicts, a trait shared only by the other two Main Deck "ZW -" monsters that debuted in Cosmo Blazer: "Ultimate Shield" and "Tornado Bringer".

• This monster has a similar English name to that of the Equip Spell Card, "Lightning Blade".

• In the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime, this was the first Warrior "ZW -" monster to be revealed; however, in the OCG/TCG, this monster's Type was changed to Beast.
