When Jinzo is normal summoned, the opponent can activate trap hole or bottomless trap hole it to negate the summoning?

Jinzo can possibly be negated with By Order of the Emperor, because it works when the effect goes off upon the summoning and acts as a chain 2 to Jinzo so thus you can negate his effect but at the expense of loosing a card. It's really not that bad a loss. Plus monster card effect completely bone Jinzo, like for example D.D. Warrior Lady can remove him and herself from play effectively owning Jinzo. Or you can use Chaos Sorcerer if he is the new print version, to remove Jinzo from play. Dark Jeriods Can lower Jinzo's attack. Good for if they use Horus LV8 In combination with Jinzo to effectively own spells. Snipe Hunter could also be a great card to use on Jinzo and Horus LV8. It isn't that great a combo once you see it's weakness.

No. Trap Hole and Bottomless Trap Hole do not negate the summon. However, Solemn Judgment and Horn of Heaven (Or Black Horn of Heaven if he was Special Summoned) do negate the summon, and these remain the only Trap Cards you can use against the summoning of a Jinzo.

Remember that Jinzo's effect is continuous, and is active the moment he hits the field. Solemn Judgment and Horn of Heaven bypass it by actually hitting Jinzo before he 'officially' hits the field.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 08:47, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Oh man...thats gay. I mean...there isnt a phase where"while monster is been summon" you cant cancel it?...dam

other trap cards

So it doesn't negate trap cards activated(or executed) from the graveyard?--Andersmusician$ 00:52, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Trap hole and bottomless doesn't negate his summon, but they do destroy him. So how is his effect still working? The trap card's effect should be able to destroy Jinzo before his effect is actived because he is the slowest spell speed. So prior to his effect's activation (spell speed one), a player plays trap hole, so according to the rule book, the last card in the chain resolves first (trap hole, then jinzo's effect).

BUTTTTTT couldn't Gladiator Beast War Chariot, negate the activation of his effect and destroy him??

Semi-Limited Status

Oh no! I'm screwed, it's now semi-limited and mine got lost!!! --Andersmusician$ 01:46, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

is there any wayto negate his effect if its your opponents (teams) card (yes i like 2 vs 2 games, but thats off-topic)? 85.146.249.89 18:32, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Skill Drain

if Skill Drain is already face up on the field, and Jinzo is then summoned, will Jinzo negate Skill Drain's effect, or will Skill Drain negate Jinzo's ability?

it depends on whatever card is activated 1st. in this case since it was skill drain, it will negate jinzo--Mr.Archfreak 23:43, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

What if you active skill drain WHEN your opponent summons Jinzo? Now who's effect is first? Because Skill Drain doesn't negate the summon but it does negate the effect.

Loop-hole

Jinzo is a loop-hole card that any trap is supposed to kill him (that says so on it) because it clearly states on the card "REMAINS" on the field. therefore, it is supposed to take effect if it is NOT CHAINED. but Konami didn't follow their own rules that are in their own rule book that comes in the starter decks.

what is activated last, works first (minus spell speeds). you're supposed to be able to traphole/bottomless him, but for some reason they won't allow it. but technically spell-speed wise, it is allowed. — This unsigned comment was made by RyuSenshi (talkcontribs) 12:44, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

You cannot chain to a Summon. "Trap Hole" and "Botomless Trap Hole" can only be activated after the monster has been Summoned. Since "Jinzo" hits the field, before the player gets to activate them, his effect is already active, so the Traps cannot be played. -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:54, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
