"Athena":
  • "Diviner of the Herald" and "Darklord Asmodeus" can send any Fairy monster from the Deck to the GY, which can be Special Summoned with this card's effect by sending "Diviner"/"Asmodeus" to the GY.
  • "Darklord Superbia" has great synergy with this card. Not only can it Special Summon another Fairy monster from the GY when it is Special Summoned by this card, but it also allows a second copy of "Athena" to be Special Summoned from the GY, which can create an FTK loop.
  • This card works well with "Trickstar" Decks, since they heavily rely on Special Summons, and are also focused on burn damage.

Traditional Format[edit]

  • Use "Athena", "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Archlord Kristya" to perform OTK. First, you must have "Athena" and "Brionac" on your side of the field. Then you have to Special Summon "Kristya", return a Fairy-Type monster from your Graveyard to your hand and use the effect of "Brionac" (discard a Fairy-Type monster) to return "Kristya" to your hand. Special Summon "Kristya" and repeat the cycle-your opponent will lose 600 Life Points each time "Kristya" is Special Summoned.
