The Genex Ally monsters are a sub-Archetype of DARK Machine-Type monsters that serve as support to the original Genex series.

It seems they have a relation to Allies of Justice due to their name, and the fact that all of them are DARK Machine-Type monsters.

The "Ally" part of it's names may refer to the fact that some of them can be used in conjunction with other archetypes (like Birdman for Mist Valleys, Bellflame for Neoflamvells, Crusher or even Reliever for Naturias and Triforce for Worms and Ancient Gears, and Triarm for Allies of Justice, with the latter two depending on the attribute of the Synchro Material Monsters, used to summon them.

Playing Style
The Genex Ally monsters have a somewhat aggressive playing style. They use their manipulation of Attributes to gain field advantage by destroying cards on the opponent's side of the field, which can be normally done with cards like "Genex Ally Crusher", "Genex Ally Duradark" and "Genex Ally Volcannon". A card that also works with the card destruction theme is Genex Doctor, even though it is not part of the Genex Ally archetype. Other cards that can be used for more field advantage are Earthshaker, even though most decks are based on 1 attribute, this card can still be used if used correctly. And Battle of the Elements, again, even though most decks are based on 1 attribute. Ultimate Offering can be used to further abuse Genex Ally Crusher's effect. You can also recycle those monsters with Pot of Avarice or Compulsory Evacuation Device. Dark Armed Dragon can be used in this deck as well for more field advantage and control.

Genex Ally can also be used as a beatdown strategy, using "Genex Ally Powercell" to increase the attack of all monsters with the same attribute as it by 500, which is really easy seeing all Genex Ally monsters are the DARK Attribute, but can be changed by some of their own effects. At the right time, Limiter Removal can be used to further abuse the beatdown.

They have amazing synchro capabilities with the ability to change Attributes. They can be used for synchros like Ancient Sacred Wyvern, just by changing their Attribute. They also have a few amazing Synchro Monsters from their own, which gain different effects depending on the Attributes of the non-Tuner monsters. "Genex Ally Triarm" seems to be the Synchro for hand and field control, making your opponent either discard a card, destroy a Spell or Trap Card, or destroy a LIGHT monster and then draw 1 card if the non-tuner monsters are the Attribute of WIND,WATER or DARK. While "Genex Ally Triforce" can be used for swarming, burn and attacks without being interrupted by spell or trap cards if the non-tuner monsters are the attribute of LIGHT, FIRE or EARTH. "Genex Ally Axel" can be used for a quick beatstick summoned from the Graveyard that is destroyed during the End Phase.

"Genex Ally", known as "Ally Genex" (アーリー・ジェネクス, Ārī Jenekusu) in Japan, is a series of cards that are part of the "Genex" archetype. They serve as support for the other "Genex" monsters and receive implicit support from their support cards.

It seems they have a relation to "Ally of Justice" due to their name, and the fact that all of them are DARK Machine monsters. In the Duel Terminal storyline, these were created when the "Ally of Justice" machines were merged with the "R-Genex".

Many of the "Genex Ally" monsters resemble characters from the Mega Man franchise. Also, they all have similar poses to the Robot Masters. "Genex Ally Duradark" has resemblance to Mega Man, while "Genex Ally Remote" has resemblance to Galaxy Man, etc.
