Yu-Gi-Oh!
- In the first Dub of Yugi's shadow duel against the Pegasus video, it was referred to as the "Elf Swordsman", which is the translated Japanese name. This was corrected in a second dub.
- In the Japanese version of episode 2 of the second series anime, Sugoroku puts up a poster featuring "Elf Swordsman" and "Hercules Beetle". In the dub "Black Luster Soldier" and "Harpie's Pet Dragon" are in the poster.
- During his first duel against Maximillion Pegasus, Yugi tried to use Celtic Guardian, but it was destroyed by his own Dark Magician which Pegasus had controlled with the Eye of Illusion.
- In his second duel against Seto Kaiba on top of Pegasus' castle, he intended to destroy the diseased Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon with this monster, but hampered his attack during the last moment.
- In episode 50 Yugi attacked Bandit Keith's "Cyber Jar" with "Celtic Guardian".
- In episode 53 Yugi used "celtic Guardian" to destroy Johnny Steps' "Sonic Maid". Johnny destroyed "Celtic Guardian" with "Musician King".
- In the virtual world arc Yugi replaces it with Obnoxious Celtic Guardian.
- In the manga, Cetic Guardian was a Level 6 monster dubbed "Celtic Guardian - The Elf Knight".

- Yugi Muto was holding the "Celtic Guardian" figure while teaching Téa Gardner how to play Capsule Monsters.
