- This card can be searched by the "Vylon" cards: "Filament", "Material", "Segment", "Cube", "Sigma", and "Delta", "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Power Tool Dragon", "Ashoka Pillar", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", "Mikanko Rivalry", "Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu", another copy of "Vylon Component", and other generic searchers.
- Equip this card to "Vylon Soldier" to let it switch an opponent's monster to Defense Position and still inflict damage. This is very useful since many monsters with high ATK also have low DEF.
- Equip this card to a "Vylon" monster that you've boosted the ATK of with Equip Cards to make the most out of the Piercing Damage it lets you deal out. An excellent choice for this is "Vylon Sigma" who, while on his own, can constantly equip himself with cards like "Mage Power" while also getting a second attack from "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce".
- When this card is equipped to "Vylon Omega", since Damage Calculation takes place before Flip Effects are activated, you can attack, deal Piercing Battle Damage, and still negate any effect by removing this card.
