- This card's Japanese name and overall design is based on the Japanese word "kiriban" (切り番), short for kiri no ii ban (切りの良い番, "nice numbers"), the word often used online to mark certain milestone celebrations (such as subscriber counts or post likes, etc.).
- This card's effect and artwork prominently features the number "10", which is often considered as the "perfect" (i.e. "kiriban") number.
- This card's kanji name can be roughly translated to "number slasher", based on this card's effect to "cut" short the opponent's turn when either side exceeds 10 effect activations that turn. As a side note, the kanji "ban" (番) can also be translated as "turn".
