Pyro-Type monsters are almost always of the Fire Attribute, and usually represent beings of great skill or power in controlling and wielding fire. Their effects often involve the dealing of Direct Damage to opponents. Some Pyro monsters are:

• Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective
• Flame Ruler

Cards that assist or draw strength from Pyro monsters include:

Currently, there is no Field Spell Card designed especially for Pyro-type Monsters, though the card Molten Destruction works to increase the ATK of Fire Monsters by 500.
