Card Tips:Stoic Challenge

- This card works well with monsters that have negative effects, or those without effects, like Gagagigo the Risen or Gem-Knight Pearl.
- Equip this card to your "Hazy Flame Basiltrice" with 5 Xyz Materials. It will gain 3000 atk, and it won't be destroyed on your next turn.
- This card works well with many of the "Utopia" monsters.
- Equip this card and "ZW - Lightning Blade" to any "Utopia" monster. Lightning Blade will be destroyed in that monster's place when this card is destroyed.
- This card works well with "Number C39: Utopia Ray" since if you Xyz Summon it by using "Number 39: Utopia" it will have 4300 ATK for only using 2 monsters to summon it.
- First, use the effect of "Number C39: Utopia Ray V" to inflict Effect damage before equipping this card, then attack for 3800 ATK doubled.
- Since "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory's" effect that prevents Spell/Trap cards from being activated during the Battle Phase is a Continuous Effect, it is not stopped by this card, so you can attack safely for 4600 ATK without having to worry about your opponent's back row.
- If you use "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" to summon either of the two above monsters, then the ATK of both of them will be increased by an additional 600.
- An OTK can be accomplished using this card, the "Utopia cards, "Xyz Change Tactics", and the "Rank-Up-Magic" cards, as well as "Rank-Down-Magic Numeron Fall" and potentially "Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger". By repeatedly Ranking Up "Utopia", then Ranking him Down with "Numeron Fall" back to another iteration of Utopia, then Special Summoning "Number C39: Utopia Ray", you can draw plenty of cards with "Xyz Change Tactics", paying 500 Life Points each time to draw. When you cannot potentially Special Summon any more "Utopias", you Special Summon "Gaia Dragon", equip it with this card, and potentially swing to deal enough damage.
- If you use "Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force" to summon either of the two above monsters, then the ATK of both of them will be increased by an additional 600.
- This card spells instant death for your opponent in case you use it on Number 39: Beyond the Hope, who, if summoned by using Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force on a 3 material Number C39: Utopia Ray, not only makes your opponent's monster's ATK 0, but gains 2400 ATK, meaning an attack of 5400 pts will inflict 10 800 damage. Make sure you have cards such as Trap Stun to prevent any surprises.
- "Wind-Up Zenmaines" and "Maestroke the Symphony Djinn" can both be protected from this card's destruction effect with their own effects.
- Maestroke could also be used to protect any of the "Djinn" Xyz Monsters.
- You can combine this card with "Tiras, Keeper of Genesis" to do extra damage, destroy a card and still keep Tiras on the Field after your Opponent's End Phase.
- Summon any "Constellar" Xyz monster, and then, Xyz Summon "Constellar Ptolemy M7", and again, Xyz Summon "Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger". Equip this card to it, giving it 5000 ATK, which will inflict double piercing damage.
- Another option is to equip this card to a "Constellar" Xyz Monster and attack, then Summon "Constellar Ptolemy M7" to avoid this card's destruction Effect and keep your monster.
- You can equip this card to a "Number" while "Number Wall" is on the Field to prevent your monster from being destroyed after your Opponent's End Phase.
